Howsit gents
My daily ride is a Ford ranger t6 single cab. I want to upgrade the speakers because it doesn't sound that grand. It doesn't have tweeters. I do know it has 6.5' speakers. Has anyone on here have any experience with these bakkies? What speakers to use? Should I go split or can I go coaxial? I drive on heavy corrogations everyday so fitting a amp might not be ideal due to viberation issues.
Thanks in advance

Re: Ford Ranger speaker replacement thoughts
How much do you want to spend?
A split system will always sound better than coaxils mounted in the stock door location.

Im leaning towards splits as it has tweeter mounts. Under r1k i think. Willing to stretch it alittle.

You should be able to get a set from some of the mainstream brands.
It would be best for you to listen to them before purchase, but I am not sure where you can do that in your area...

Re: Ford Ranger speaker replacement thoughts
At that price, I can only recommend Journey splits at 950.

Re: Ford Ranger speaker replacement thoughts
I really want to listion to any brand in a ranger to get an idea what it might sound like or worth the effort. Hence im looking for somebody who mightv replaced theres. For a good set of splits what are the prices like?
Another question would be is if my hu can sufficiently power the splits?
