Hi guys ive recently bought a 2008 polo 1.4 pre owned and i seem to have problems with the vehicle namely:
1. Everytime i do a 180 degree turn either to the left or right my hand brake light turns on and the steering wheel stiffens
2. My head lights flicker when i brake
your response will be highly appreciated.

Clean the battery terminals and also the fuses - make sure it is making proper contact.

I would say it's an earth issue. "Common" problem with those polo's.
