Front loader AV Out

Hi guys,

A buddy of mine is building a camping entertainment system. Basically a big box with four speakers around it and a TV in the middle.
The TV is running of an inverter.

He has a cheap Dixon front loader with 3inch dvd screen installed in the car. Can the front loaders dvd be displayed on the TV via the yellow AV out on the radio?

If not, what is the purpose of the AV out function?
