VPS for tailgate and rear bumper?

Greetings!
I have purchased one of those somewhat annoying bike racks that attach to the tailgate. It has clips that grip top, sides and bottom of the hatch lid, and some foam pads that rest on the rear bumper sill.

To protect against damage, I'd like to have the tailgate and top of the rear bumper / loading sill protected.
How much would I be looking at to have the tailgate, including hidden inside edges, and top of bumper / loading sill area protected?
How long would it take roughly, and do I need an appointment?
