Re: My 06 PGTi - New tyres, shocks fitted

Fitted some new rubber yesterday, Bridgestone Potenzas, feels so much better than those crappy Firenzas I got the car with.

New shocks went on as well. Fronts were a mission to remove!

Car feels so much more stable on the road

Nice ride buddy,

I see you have some ATE rear discs and pads there.

did you fit them your self?

I have a set with pads at home brand new which i also still need to fit but have heard its difficult without the caliper tool,

I had them fitted at a friend of mines workshop. Didn't seem too difficult from what I saw, but then again they do these kind of things on a daily basis.
