Ferrari Golf Cart Detailed

Post by N3mo »

Had the Pleasure of detailing the 2nd Official Ferrari golf Cart in the world. The only other one like this is owned by the president of Ferrari. The golf carts are made by a company called GARIA and they are then dressed in PORSCHE bits. This one was bought from GARIA and then stripped of all PORSCHE bits which was then replaced by Ferrari bits. All the bits including the paint and trim were sent in from Ferrari to SA and the Ferrari golf Cart was born. Theres still a scuderia steering wheel thats on its way from Ferrari. These will be built and sold as Official Ferrari Golf Carts.

Being the first Demo Ferrari Golf Cart that will be shown to the world, we knew that we will be polishing this many many times going forward as it will be used in shows and transported around. We were called in to give it special treatment with protection on the paint priority.

The paint itself had plenty of sanding marks, there were plenty of sanding residue all over the crevices, the rubbers were stained white, the Aluminum control arms were stained. We cleaned up all the stained rubber and trim, rubbed down the aluminum bits and then polished to give it a proper look. A single stage paint correction was given to remove all sanding marks and leave extremely high gloss finish which was then protected with AF Powerseal. We will be giving it a coat AF Desire wax very soon.

Detail :
- Wheels / Undercarriage cleaned with AF Verso
- Rubbers / Floor panel / Bonnet area / Boot area cleaned using AF Verso
- Wash using AF Lather
- Clay using AF Clay and Lube
- Single stage correction using Scholl compounds
- Pre sealant cleanse using AF Tough Prep
- AF Power seal applied for protection
- Roof / Carbon coated bits / Wheels polished using AF Tripple
- AF Revive applied to all Plastic and rubber trim
- Control Arms sanded down then polished
- Dash cleaned and treated
- Seats cleaned and treated
- Glass cleaned

It's a real ballers cart, looking forward to the scuderia steering wheel.

When you buy one, you can have the option of customising to any Ferrari you want...
