NOOB

Post by THEGTOWNER »

Well hi there
I'm new to all of this,

I've recently gotten myself a little red Vivo GT.

I'd like to find out if anyone has turbo charged one of these motors and if anyone knows how much boost the block and head can handle.

Just pulling your leg bud. I reckon you should drop the old 1.9TDi engine (from the 2 door Sportline) into your GT for good old fashioned sh1ts and giggles!

Don't build what you can buy...
2014 - VW Jetta 6 - 1.6 TDi DSG
2000 - VW Golf 3.5 Cabrio - 2.0
1980 - VW MK1 GT - 1.8 Carb - https://www.vwclub.co.za/forum/viewtopi ... 1&t=153861
1971 - Mitsubishi Colt 1100F - https://www.vwclub.co.za/forum/viewtopi ... 1&t=220503
MK1 Build Register: https://www.vwclub.co.za/forum/viewtopi ... 1&t=192835

Racing is meant for the RACE track - deal with it...

You are indeed correct my good sir why I'm keen on buying the already turbo's bam motor and upgrading the internals to handle so proper boost....
