Re: KIWI with a POLO
I'll post some when the car is bit more presentable. Researching paint correction and new headlights. The original headlights are very hazy and completely ruin the overall appearance. Probably going to get the black Xino DRL headlights. Exhaust system should arrive this week. Also contacted APR and confirmed that I'm eligible for a FREE upgrade to Stage IINHB_R wrote:Where's the pics

Re: KIWI with a POLO
Very nice man, I've got a friend with a Japanese Polo GTI as well, his came with a very strange set of options, like a radio blank off plate and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Re: KIWI with a POLO
It actually does have the pressure monitor. I thought that was a standard feature. Haven't even used it yet.Pynoxim wrote:Very nice man, I've got a friend with a Japanese Polo GTI as well, his came with a very strange set of options, like a radio blank off plate and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Re: KIWI with a POLO
Finally the Milltek Full system arrived, and was just installed and the ECU updated from APR Stage 1 to APR Stage 2+ ... Initial thoughts: Get new discs, pads, control arm bushes etc ASAP!

Re: KIWI with a POLO
Are you going for replacement rubber or polyurethane? Just be aware that if you do go for the poly option, doing the dogbone in poly will result in excess vibration at idle and pull off, it isn't super bad but it's noticeable and you get used to it.

Re: KIWI with a POLO
Hi, I'm probably going with Superpro Purple/Blue (not black) Poly Lower-Inner Rear & Lower-Inner Front Control arm Bush Kits; only for the control arms. The dogbone/torque arm bush I've actually already replaced with a new OEM one because I could easily see that the rubber was perishing. Replacing it definitely tightened up the gearbox movement to acceptable standards. I'm very interested in the Vibra-technics engine and gearbox mounts, but I dread to think about the work involved.Pynoxim wrote:Are you going for replacement rubber or polyurethane?
