Hi VW folk
New to the forum. I drive a 1995 Citigolf Chico 1.3 (have been for years) and it's time to get something better as the old girl is getting on a bit and the little niggles are tiring me out.
Price around R150K. Either a 2010/11 Golf or Jetta TSI, or, a newer Polo TSI because they fit within that price range. I'm not a youngster so I don't need anything flashy. Just something comfortable and reliable.
Am I making a mistake looking at the TSI variants? Are there any known issues? What would the maintenance and upkeep cost me? I ask all these questions because I've never owned anything other than a cheapie that I can fix myself when something goes wrong (within reason of course).
Any advice on this would be really helpful.
Thanks.
N00b here. Advice please.

Polo TSi are good cars , early 2014 models already done 150k km with no problems , being polo parts and help is extensive compared to the other two.wedwo wrote:Hi VW folk

trendline and comfortline demos and fleet cars are all within budget.
If you want a even more secure purchase the polo 6r models are great and prices below your spend , although milages have crept up.
