Help please,am new on the forum...experiencing esc error on my vehicle,all warning lights come on steering gets stiff,after that mfd says brakes work shop!...was told it could be an earth fault,ive spent fortunes at the mechanics ,still have same issue

Yes....communication error,they suggested ,earth problem ,checked,changed battery,removed tracker,radio fuse changed,same issue....been reading about the wheel bearing ,could it be it? After ESC error it says brakes workshop! Vw themselves couldn't get right(sad)

Is the gears getting stuck? car cutting off? Caue i had a prob with the alternator on my car. All the dash lights came on, car was cutting off... So could be an earth prob...get someone to check the voltage and work from there. Hope you come right bro..

On my polo 9n3, i disconnected the earth cable from battery to body, sanded it down with some rough sand paper and problem was solved

Its not the alternator, since I've started the car and disconnect the battery for 5 min,it doesn't stop,however it has a epc light and the sound change

I think u should take it and trace the earth cable...i know a friend who use's a device that telkom uses to trace cables and find out if there is a loss of current.

Bro take it back 2 VW, and ask them 2 strip and check. Thats the only way.

Car out of warranty, cash is low for agents you know how the charge,as am writing parked cause the ESC error came on while driving,car went on limp mode,no power ...had it in by the machenic who cleaned wheel sensors,drove OK for two days now at it again

Now it happens when I hit the brakes...automatically ESC error comes up....I know Vw couldn't get it right while still on warrantee, n1 city and culenborg vw dint manage,....any one have a clue what to try next,except sell the damn car

I know what you going through. May be take it 2 a tuner or a good mac close 2 u. If all fails..sell it. Just my 2c

Got it scanned P0864...fault code.....and U0001 and U0002
Can anyone please guide me as to where the location of traction controller module is on this vehicle,, need to trace the harness
